How to play Sudoku

  • Select an empty square, then type a digit from 1 to 9 or use the number buttons on screen.
  • The starting numbers cannot be changed. Use Delete or Backspace to clear a number you entered.
  • Use Hint to fill the selected square if you get stuck, or New Game to start a new puzzle.

Incorrect entries are highlighted in the game. You finish when every empty square has the correct number.

This game runs in your browser. If it does not respond to the keyboard, click inside the game first.
